Quran Competition

Quran Competition will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026

We are excited to announce that our Quran Competition. Each class has selected 5 students to represent them in the competition. These students will be informed by their Quranic Studies teachers. Students will be evaluated on:

 

  • Memorization

  • Tajweed (pronunciation)

  • Vocabulary understanding

 

Please review the instructions and the assigned surahs for each class below, and support your child in preparing over the coming weeks.

 

We look forward to a beautiful and uplifting event, InshaAllah, and encourage all families to attend and support our students.

Should you have additional questions, your child’s Quranic Studies teacher will be able to assist.

How Students Should Prepare

1

Memorization

Memorize all 3 assigned surahs and recite them clearly, confidently, and smoothly with a beautiful voice.

2

Tajweed (Makharij)

Students should pronounce each letter correctly, apply proper tajweed rules, and avoid rushing during recitation.

3

Vocabulary

Each surah includes vocabulary words. Students should memorize the meanings and be prepared to answer questions.
